The current inaugural board includes people with many skills, and now that the CLT has been established, there will be chance for any other local residents to volunteer for and elect a board to take forward the work of the trust. If you have skills that you think will be helpful to the trust please come forward and get involved.

Frank is a retired, local government director with experience of planning, regeneration and development projects and management of a wide range of services

Piers Mason
Trustee

Piers spent his working life in publishing, managing his own group of specialist publishing companies.  He has also acted as a non-executive director to several large property companies.’

Patricia Goodhew
Trustee

Patricia is a retired Legal Practice Manager and previously worked as Secretary of a local Charity. She was a member of the Steering Group that produced the Westbourne Neighbourhood Plan and Village Design Statement. She has assisted with the Emsworth Neighbourhood Plan and Village Design Statement and was a member of the Langstone Village Association which developed the Langstone Village Design Statement.

Richard Hitchcock
Trustee

Richard has a background in higher education and still works with the University of Portsmouth as a member of a Faculty Research Ethics team. He takes a great interest in local affairs and, as a parish councillor and supporter of Greening Westbourne, is heavily involved in the life of the Westbourne community.

Ivan Western
Trustee

Ivan has worked in the social housing sector for 35 years, including spells with both Chichester District Council and West Sussex County Council.  He left local government in 2022 now works part time for a Chichester based housing charity. He joined the board of WCT in January 2023.
